To make the best use of time, we run a full appointment system. You can make an appointment either online (login and password required) by telephone or by calling in personally. Patients with urgent problems however, will always be fitted in when necessary at the end of the morning sessions. Please make your request in plenty of time whenever possible.
Please remember requests for medical assistance outside normal surgery hours should be reserved for urgent problems. If you should need help during out of hours, please telephone 111.
Please telephone the surgery between 1.00pm and 4pm to obtain the results of your test.
The purpose of the Patient Participation Group (PPG) is to ensure that patients are involved in decisions about the range and quality of services provided and over time, commissioned by their practice. Somercotes Medical Centre would like to routinely seek the views of their patients by holding regular meetings at the surgery and in time by contact with a virtual group.
We would like to promote the proactive engagement of patients through the use of effective Patient Participation Groups and to also seek the views from our patients through the use of a local practice survey designed in part by the PPG. The minutes and results of any surveys will be published on the practice's website.
All patients are welcome to join the group and it is never to late. If you are interested in joining or would simply like to come along and see how our PPG volunteers engage with the surgery then why not attend our next meeting, or for more information contact 01773 601700 or 602141, or email SDERCCG.AdminSomercotes@nhs.net
Please remember everyone is welcome and all views will be respected.
