Patient Participation Group (PPG)

The purpose of the Patient Participation Group (PPG) is to ensure that patients are involved in decisions about the range and quality of services provided and over time, commissioned by their practice. Somercotes Medical Centre would like to routinely seek the views of their patients by holding regular meetings at the surgery and in time by contact with a virtual group.

We would like to promote the proactive engagement of patients through the use of effective Patient Participation Groups and to also seek the views from our patients through the use of a local practice survey designed in part by the PPG. The minutes and results of any surveys will be published on the practice’s website.

All patients are welcome to join the group and it is never to late. If you are interested in joining, please complete our Patient Participation Group Registration form, or if you would simply like to come along and see how our PPG volunteers engage with the surgery then why not attend our next meeting, or for more information contact 01773 601700 or 602141.

Please remember everyone is welcome and all views will be respected.
